Richard, along with new gems Robyn Livingstone, Takeo Yamashiro, Lawrie Koyle, Muriel Marjorie, Richard Tylman and Mike Richter. Hosted by Michele A. Richard. Free

The mission of the Heart of the City Festival is to promote, present, profile and encourage development of artists, art forms, cultural traditions, history, activism, people and great stories about Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Since its founding in 2004, it has become a flagship for the hot bed of the arts simmering in the heart of our city. With a focus on rich and diverse communities of the DTES, the Annual Heart of the City Festival celebrates the creative and committed artists and activists who thrive in the heart of Vancouver.
